Announcement of Registration as Modern Heritage of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

We are pleased to announce that a residential facility owned by Abu Dhabi Oil Co., Ltd., designed by our company in 1981, was registered in 2023 as "Modern Heritage" by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The Modern Heritage program is a system that aims to preserve and pass on buildings and places that symbolize the modernization and urban development of Abu Dhabi as cultural heritage. Buildings with historical, cultural, and architectural value are selected and recognized as important assets that should be preserved for future generations.
The residential facility registered this time has been selected as part of the modern cultural heritage of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in recognition of its historical and architectural significance. In addition, the facility was evaluated as an example of modern architecture for its architectural expression, spatial planning, material composition, and environmental consideration, leading to its registration.
Our company will continue to create valuable architecture that will be passed on to future generations, while respecting the culture and history of each region.
